We hosted our first post Corona guests this weekend. A lovely family from the capital Ljubljana who enjoyed exploring the natural wonders of our area, including Vintgar Gorge, Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj.

We are delighted to confirm that our apartments have reopened with new Covid-19 measures
After a temporary closure due to the situation around coronavirus (COVID-19), we are delighted to confirm that our apartments have reopened and we look forward to welcoming you back! We will make sure your stay with us is not only relaxing, but as safe as possible.

The health and well-being of our guests has always been, and always will be, our primary concern.
With the Coronavirus situation in Slovenia well under control, all accommodations in the country had been given the green light to reopen on June 1st. Slovenia is currently one of the safest countries in Europe to travel to. There are less than ten Covid-19 cases considered to be active in the country and only 13 new infections have been found in the last three weeks, all of which were linked to known cases or outbreaks or imported from abroad.
We have always taken great pride in delivering the highest standards in cleanliness and hygiene and we are very proud of our perfect or almost perfect cleanliness scores on Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Airbnb, and other travel websites. But cleanliness is even more critical during this time. We’re now using the ECDC (European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control) standards to clean and disinfect our apartments.
These are the measures we are taking to ensure the safety of our guests:
– We make each apartment unavailable for at least one day between guests and all the windows are open the whole day to let in the fresh air.
– All frequently touched surfaces such as light switches, door handles, cabinet handles, electric sockets, faucets, sinks and tables will be disinfected before you check in.
– Remote controls for TV and A/C will also be disinfected and placed in a sealed plastic bag ready for your use.
– All kitchen cloths provided will be brand new.
– All crockery, cutlery and cookware will be fully checked for cleanliness and re-washed if necessary.
– As standard, the bathroom will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected but particular attention will be taken to areas such as toilet seats.
– Vacuum cleaner bags will be changed after each clean.
– All key safes and keys will be sanitised before every arrival.
– All part-used toilet roll and kitchen roll will be removed after every holiday departure.
– Bed throws, spare blankets and decorative soft furnishings will be removed from all of our apartments.
– Our cleaning lady wears single-use gloves while cleaning and change them after cleaning each apartment.
– We’ll not enter your apartment unless requested during your stay.
– Guests are able to check in and check out without any person-to-person contact.

The cleaning and disinfection products we use are effective and extremely safe.

All frequently touched surfaces such as light switches, door handles, cabinet handles, electric sockets, faucets, sinks and tables will be disinfected before you check in.

Germs can survive for a longer period of time on surfaces, that’s why it is important to clean and disinfect all frequently touched surfaces.

Kitchen cleanliness is more important than ever.

Remote controls for TV and A/C are disinfected and placed in a sealed plastic bag.

Disinfecting the toilet is one of the most important parts of cleaning the bathroom.
The health and well-being of our guests is our highest priority. For questions about reservations or about preventative Covid-19 measures implemented at our apartments, please contact us via email [email protected] or telephone +386 41 735 897.
We look forward to welcoming you soon!
Slovenia is on a great way to defeat the coronavirus
Some great news about coronavirus situation in Slovenia. After two consecutive days with no new coronavirus cases and no new deaths, there are only 8 Covid-19 cases considered to be active in the country, according to official figures, with recoveries outpacing new cases for weeks.
Slovenia has found only 8 new infections in the last 15 days, all of which were linked to known cases or outbreaks. The last evidence of community transmission was in late April. Two people remain in ICU, both in a critical condition. There had been a total 1,473 confirmed cases to date, and 1,357 recoveries. 108 people have died from coronavirus in Slovenia, with a vast majority of deaths connected with the significant clusters at aged-care facilities, in Ljutomer, Smarje Pri Jelsah and Metlika. In total, 78,529 tests had been carried out nationwide by Friday – up 613 in the past day.
