We’ve already put up a Christmas tree and some Christmas decorations in the apartment to help our guests get into the holiday spirit and make the apartment a little more homey. Christmas is a very special time of year and whether or not you celebrate Christmas, it is a time of sharing, love, joy and peace.
The festive season is a very special time of year, so it’s important to spend it with the right people, in the right place. At this time of year, the property is lit up in Christmas lights which make the feeling of romance but also the Holiday spirit.
When it comes to getting in the spirit of the holidays, outdoor Christmas lights are a great way to set the mood. They add a lovely festive feeling.
The Bled area had the first snow of the season yesterday afternoon, just enough of it to whiten the ground, but still a foretaste of things to come.

Autumn is the most picturesque time to visit the Gorenjska region of Slovenia. It is such a beautiful and colorful time of the year, as the hot summer transitions to mild, pleasantly warm sunny days and cool nights, and the deciduous foliage undergoes spectacular color changes. We LOVE when Mother Nature does her magic color show!

It’s October 5th and we’re having yet another beautiful early autumn day in Slovenian Alps. Perfect for sightseeing, hiking, cycling, horseback riding, and almost any outside adventure.
The new kitchen trash can has 3 different sections for organic waste, packaging waste and residual waste. The design leaves the contents of the bin lid closed permanently, preventing leaching of undesirable odors.

It’s September 27th. The summer has finally said goodbye to Slovenia and what a lovely summer it was here this year, we don’t often get long, warm and dry summers so this one was exceptional and much appreciated. However it is time to say goodbye to the lovely summer and prepare for the autumn and winter months ahead. Autumn as a season in our region is lovely. The weather is still nice and with the leaves changing colour on the trees the landscape can be very picturesque.
Right now, the nature is starting to change color all around us, but it is still surprisingly green outside.
We recently bought a new refrigerator and took some new photos of the kitchen to show it in the space.
