The a-la-carte restaurant Vila Podvin is run by one of Slovenia’s best chefs Uros Stefelin and is up to Michelin standard. With modern techniques and creativity he transforms traditional dishes into culinary delights of Slovene Nouvelle Cuisine. In the winter it is warm and cosy inside. In summer you can sit al fresco in their lovely and shaded garden. You can have 4 chosen courses from the tasting menu for €39 or you choose your own 4 for €45. Good range of wines at reasonable prices. The staff is wonderful, the food is delicious, locally sourced, and typical Slovenian. We can’t recommend this place enough.
