Join the pleasant with useful and spend your visit here actively. Moving around by bicycle can be one of the best ways of acquainting oneself with a new place. The Bled area is very convenient for cycling – be it for, less demanding older tourists, young families or determined cycling enthusiasts. There are no special lanes for cycling, however since traffic is light, most roads can be used. Local roads between villages are suitable for short family cycling trips. A pleasant trip for all the family in the summer is to cycle to Lake Bled and take a dip in the lake.

A number of paths through Bled and its surroundings offer the possibility of pleasant family cycling trips. The paths are mainly level with some small, gentle inclines, suitable therefore for cyclists of all ages. You can rent bicycles at several agencies in Bled and you can also hire a guide. Cycling trip through the valley Radovna, which is situated in the Triglav National Park, is moderately demanding and appropiate for families. Several natural and cultural attractions along the way make this trip even more interesting. Starting from Bled, head towards Gorje and follow directions for Pokljuka until you reach Krnica village. From there you decend town toward the river Radovna. Cross the bridge and turn left. Continue on the road to the end of the valley.
