River Soca

The Soca or Isonzo is a 138-kilometre long river that flows through western Slovenia and northeastern Italy. It is one of the most beautiful and cleanest rivers in Europe. The pristine beauty of this emerald river attracts nature lovers, photographers and water-sports enthusiasts from all around the world and it truly is a nature’s paradise. Different sections of the river are very different, the water colors and the rocks are different, it’s great to drive along the river and stop and relax and take photographs.

Soca’s rapids also offer some of the best adrenaline-pumping water sports experiences in this part of Europe, including rafting, kayaking, canoeing, canyoning (swimming in river pools, conquering waterfalls and canyons), and hydrospeeding (river descents with hydrospeed boards).
