You’ll feel right at home when you step into this very modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean home. Beautifully furnished and equipped with your comfort in mind and all of the facilities and mod-cons you would expect, the apartment offers much more than the average holiday home, it’s a real home from home. It occupies the whole ground floor of a beautiful alpine house located in a truly peaceful and quiet area in the beautiful Zavrsnica valley in the heart of the Gorenjska region of Slovenia, only 6 km from the famous Lake Bled and a 30 minute drive from the Ljubljana International Airport. It’s the perfect place to stay while visiting the Lake Bled area of Slovenia or the Triglav National Park or the Slovenian Alps! It’s away from the noise and crowds, but at the same time close to everything. It’s a great base to explore Slovenia as all the main natural sights in the region like Lake Bled, Vintgar Gorge, Triglav National Park, Lake Bohinj, Waterfall Savica, Waterfall Pericnik, Lake Jasna, Zelenci Nature Reserve are only 10 to 45 minutes drive away. The apartment is also close (a 6-minute drive) to the main A2 motorway that connects the Karawanken Tunnel (at the Austrian border) to Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana.

The apartment and the whole property were completely renovated recently and furnished with new, modern and very functional furniture. The apartment is very comfortable with more amenities than you could possibly need. It occupies the whole ground floor of a beautiful and completely renovated alpine house and has a surface of 55 square meters + a balcony, a terrace and a large garden. It can comfortably accommodate up to 4+1 persons and consists of 2 bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen with a dining area, a modern bathroom, a living area with a comfortable sofa, a balcony with garden furniture and a terrace with a large garden.
Cleanliness has always been at the forefront of our mind. But it’s even more critical during this time. We’re using the ECDC standards to clean and disinfect our property. Also, we make the apartment unavailable for 1-3 days between guests and you’ll be able to check in and check out without any person-to-person contact.
Key Info:
– We’re doing our part to help our guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting all frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before you check in.
– We make the apartment unavailable for 1-3 days between guests.
– Guests are able to check in and check out without any person-to-person contact.
– The apartment has its own private entrance and occupies the whole ground floor of the house.
– The apartment has a surface of 60 square meters. It can comfortably accommodate up to 4+1 persons and consists of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a well equipped kitchen with a dining table, a lovely balcony with garden furniture and a large terrace with a grassy area with fruit trees and a garden.

– Location is very convenient to all major tourist attractions in the region (Lake Bled, Vintgar Gorge, Triglav National Park, Lake Bohinj, Waterfall Pericnik, etc.).
– Only a short drive (5 minutes) to the main A2 motorway that connects the Karawanken Tunnel (at the Austrian border) to Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana.
– The apartment is classified with 4 stars by the Slovenian Tourist Board, which is the highest amount that can be awarded to a holiday apartment in Slovenia.
First Bedroom
The first bedroom includes a king-size bed (180 x 200 cm) with a high quality memory foam mattress and 100% cotton linens, two nightstands with a lamp, and a flat screen TV with more than 130 digital channels. There’s also a doorway to the balcony.
Second Bedroom
The second bedroom contains twin beds (90 x 200 cm) with high quality memory foam mattresses and 100% cotton linens, a nightstand with two lamps, a flat screen TV with more than 130 digital channels, a small working desk, two armchairs, and a fitted closet with ample storage for clothing.
Kitchen & dining area
The kitchen is modern and extremely well-equipped with a ceramic glass electric cooktop with 4 hot plates, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with a freezer compartment, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, etc.). Here you’ll find everything you need for your food preparation whether cooking a meal from scratch or heating something in the microwave. Next to the kitchen is a dining area with a wooden table seating for 5.
Bathroom
The bathroom is modern and comes complete with a glass shower stall, a washbasin with mirror cabinet, a vanity mirror, a toilet and a washing machine. Complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, hand and shower towels are provided.
Living area
The living area is light and bright with a comfortable sofa that also converts to a bed with dimensions 140 x 200 cm), a coffee table, a flat screen TV with more than 130 digital channels (including several very popular international channels in English and German language and some in Croatian, Serbian, Italian, French and other languages). There’s also a quiet split-type inverter (heating-cooling) air conditioner and a doorway to the balcony.
Balcony
Although the apartment is on the ground floor, it has a balcony with garden furniture. The balcony is 8 square meters large. It’s facing west and has nice views of the garden and the green surroundings.
Terrace
The terrace is 12 square meters large. It’s facing east and is surrounded by a large garden and an orchard.

Location
The apartment is located in the green Zavrsnica Valley in the heart of the Gorenjska region of Slovenia, only 6 km from Lake Bled and 30 minutes drive from Ljubljana International Airport. The Lake Bled area of Slovenia is often referred to as fairy-tale like and the location of the apartment is really beautiful, in a quiet and exceedingly safe neighborhood, but close to all the most important natural attractions in the region like Lake Bled, Vintgar gorge, Triglav National Park and Lake Bohinj. It is also close (a 6-minute drive) to the main A2 motorway that connects the Karawanken Tunnel (at the Austrian border) to Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana.

Prima appartement, net buiten het toeristische Bled.
+ Vriendelijke host, zeer flexibele uitchecktijden. Appartement bevat een zeer uitgebreide map met alle informatie die je goed kan gebruiken, alle faciliteiten in de omgeving staan er van A tot Z in beschreven.
– Er waren wat kleine problemen tijdens ons verblijf, maar de host heeft dit direct en op een goede manier opgelost.

Great place, everything is like on the pictures. Very clean. It is appropriate for family with small kids. Katja is helpful and fast responsive. In an apartment you can find a folder with lots of info for trips, eating, what to do etc. – very good! Apartment location is appropriate for exploring surroundings (Bled, Bohinj, Kranjska Gora, Radovljica, Zavrsnica, etc).

We came for a weekend in Slovenia and found this house to be a perfect location to take trips to Ljubljana and to visit National Parks. The House was tastefully decorated, and the views are stunning, we especially loved the under floor heating too as it was minus 8°C when we were there!! The host replied very quickly and was eager to make our stay enjoyable – which it really was! Thanks again for having us, we plan to return in the Summer!

This is a large and comfortable place to stay just a few minutes (12, I think) from the center of Bled by car. Katja was a wonderful and considerate host, even checking in one morning after some bad weather on the roads the night before. The apartment was immaculately clean, really, spotless, when I arrived and has all the amenities for a longer stay; unlike some properties for rent, Katja’s place is fully equipped and well proportioned– things like a full size shower, ‘normal’ sized kitchen table and sofa, etc., make it very comfortable to spend time there after the cramped bustle of travel in Europe (or in my case, after spending the day fishing in the cold but lovely waters of the snowmelt-fed Radovna and Sava Rivers.) It was a great pleasure to stay here and I recommend it 100%.

We had a great stay here. The place has everything you need (incl. washing machine, dishwasher, fast WiFi etc.). As it was March we didn’t make use of the BBQ and terrace, but they look great too. Location is quite secluded but really nice walks and beautiful nature right outside the door, including a water reservoir with several footpaths. We used this as our base for hiking trips to Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj and surrounding gorges and waterfalls. Highly recommended – both the area and the apartment 😉

An perfect spot to relax in the mountains, after a day exploring Ljubljana and Bled lake. Katja was an excellent host, proactive in her communication and very responsive. We stayed during the Easter holiday and didn’t realise local shops were closed. Thankfully Katja gave us a great tip to find food next door at the local restaurant/pub – a unique experience but worth it. The accommodation was clean, modern and comfortable and exceeded expectations.

Odličan apartman na odličnoj lokaciji, blizu svih zanimljivih sadrzaja i mjesta za obilazak. Apartman je vrlo dobro opremljen, ima sve sto je potrebno za ugodan boravak, cak i vise. The hosts were very welcoming and very helpful with all our requests. They also have a good customised guide for attractions that helped us a lot. The location was very nice, 10km away from major places like Lake Bled. Would definately recommend to anyone going to slovenia

This place is beautiful it’s in a nice little town really close to Bled so easy to get to, love all the amenities , really nice bathroom and spacious place. Great to have the patio outside for drinks in the evening or morning. I would highly recommend this place, katja was very helpful with great ideas and advice for things we could see and do.

Very very nice and calm place near nature and away from noises. We had a long trip before and we were very happy to take place where we can just lay down outside, eat dinner under stars. And local people what is living around are very nice and friendly. Garden and all envoriment was good for our one year old boy. And place is only 10 min drive from Bled. Thanks a lot

Prachtige woning in mooie landelijke omgeving
Wij hebben 3 mooie dagen gehad in Bled. De ontvangst was heel vriendelijk. Het huis is comfortabel en heel schoon. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Het huis is rustig gelegen maar toch bijvoorbeeld op 10 auto minuten van Bled. Voor herhaling vatbaar als we in de buurt komen

We loved our stay here. The place itself was fantastic, tucked beneath cliffs and with a great view of the Julian Alps from the front porch. The place was very spacious for the price and spotless. Katja and her husband Uroš were quick with tips for things to do and they have a great guidebook with activities and restaurant recommendations in the area in the apartment. They also have what’s listed in the book on their website, which we thought was fantastic as it introduced us to a few gems that weren’t covered in our guidebooks. We really enjoyed being close to Bled, but away from the busyness and enjoyed a visit to nearby Radovljica and had a very easy time getting over to the Vrsic Pass and Soca River Valley. We spent three nights here and would have loved to have had more time!

Lovely place in a very peaceful & quite place 10 minutes driving from Bled lake. The apartment is sparkling clean. Apartment is fully equipped with all the required. exactly as detailed. we stayed there for 6 nights. Family of 5 people. There is an impressive ‘home made’ book with recommendations and all other information about what to do? where to eat? where to buy and more (including time, distance and short map of each destination). Guests with kids – please ask about the Bear! you gonna be surprised! 🙂 We enjoyed our stay very much and can’t wait for our next trip to Slovenia. we already know where we gonna stay in our next trip… Warmly recommended for families!

I loved this apartment/house! It’s perfectly decorated, it has everything you could possibly need/want! It’s really close to Lake Bled! I was able to go skiing Vogel, Krvavec, Kranjska Gora, and Tarvisio without a problem! Quiet and right next a mountain! When you stay here it’s a little piece of heaven. Absolutely will be back the next time hike Triglav!!

Wonderful hosts! Beautiful, spacious & clean apartment. Very well equipped. Pleasant area, with lots to see & do around. Lovely lake, playground & bar only a few mins’ walk from the apartment. A variety of supermarkets & restaurants nearby. Great for kids. Definitely recommended!

We spent three great days and felt like home. The bed was very comfortable and it was great that all windows had blinds. The surroundings are just beautiful. We definitely recommend this place if someone is looking for a nice, cosy and quiet house with beautiful nature, landscapes and trails to hike and bike.

Na een fijn ontvangst en rondleiding in het huis hebben we een uitstekende vakantie genoten. Aan het huis ontbreekt niets, uitstekende WIFI. Al met al een aanrader. Uitjes in de omgeving zijn uitstekend, een bezoek aan de waterval mag je niet missen. Het is geen straf om bij het huis te blijven en te genieten van de tuin en omgeving.

Very neat and well-equipped apartment
Even before arrival we felt welcome. Katja and Uros are very friendly and are always ready to answer any questions. The apartment looks very neat and actually lacks nothing. Bled is a short distance away and by car no more than 10 to 12 minutes. Ljubljana and other places of interest are also excellent to visit. As said, it is a super apartment, it might be an idea to place a dining table on the terrace. It is a wonderful place to eat outside and enjoy the view. If we visit Slovenia again, a visit to Katja and Uros is certainly not excluded! 🙂 Our compliments to Uros (and his father 🙂 ) and Katja!!

We really enjoyed our time here. The view from the apartment is wonderful. Katja was really helpful with providing tips of what to do in the area and she has a binder with information about things to do in Slovenia. That really helped us plan our trip. We travelled with 3 young kids and she had the house setup in advance with an extra bed in the 2nd room. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it

I would choose this appartment again.
+ The apartment was in a really quiet area. There were some chairs and a table in the “backyard”, so we could sit outside and enjoy the garden without being seen by anyone. The house is 15 minutes away from Bled lake by car, but you can reach a valley with a beautiful pond within 10 minutes on foot.
– It wasn’t obvious for me that the “living room” and one of bedrooms are the same, but it was OK for us.
+ Nice neat place in a beautiful green neighbourhood with 3 different outdoor eating areas all to ourselves.
– The fridge was too small for our needs but otherwise everything was good.
Nice place, nice host, nice surrounding. If it’s free don’t hesitate to book!
The perfect apartment for our stay in Slovenia!
We were really happy with this choice, it was exactly as advertised! Lovely hosts, a clean property, really we have no complaints… As well, my children loved the yard and feeding the donkeys. We may have found this a little small if we were staying at the apartment all day, but as a base to come home to after exploring the amazing nature of Slovenia, it was perfect! We loved the location too, close to most of the attractions in the Alp region of Slovenia.
Great location with available hosts ! The terrace and the garden were amazing ! The baby donkey with its parents as neighbours behind the garden was very lovely and gave the special touch for our staying. We definitely recommend to stay at this apartment.

Katja was a great host and the flat was very clean and exactly as described. I has a very nice garden with a donkey family on the other side. We even got a bottle of wine on our day of arrival. We would stay there again, thank you very much!

Eine tolle geräumige Unterkunft (wir waren 2 Erw./1 Kind) mit viel Privatsspähre in unmittelbarer Natur (Wiese und Esel gleich vor der Tür, sicher auch nett zum Grillen). Unmittelbar hinter dem Quartier fangen die 1. Wanderwege an, ein Spielplazu/Fußballfeld ist in ca 15Min von der Unterkunft fußläufig erreichbar. Auch alle weiteren Ausflugsziele befinden sich in moderater Entfernung per Auto. Sehr entgegenkommende und hilfbereite Gastgeber. Prima ausgestatete Ferienwohnung. Vielen Dank für Alles, wir kommen hoffentlich einmal wieder!
This place is a treat! It is quite large and equipped with everything you need. Communications were very good and the place was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen has everything you need and more. You can even do some baking if you want. The area and views around the apartment are very beautiful and you can easily visit Bled, Vintgar canyon and with an hour drive you can also visit Ljubljana. While we were there it was snowing and the parking place and driveway were cleaned every day by the neighbourhood, so you don’t have to be worried about being snowed in at all. TLDR: A perfect place to stay!
Apartma se nahaja v mirnem obmocju, ki je ravno prav oddaljeno od glavne ceste in avtoceste. Odlicno izhodisce za obisk manj in bolj oddaljenih turisticnih tock. Apartma je cist, udoben in polno opremljen.

We had a truly unforgettable stay with Katja and Anica. If there was a category called Dream Host – they would fit it perfectly! Katja is extremely friendly and helpful, she helped us with logistics, gave us advice where to go and what to see, and made us feel at home every time. The apartment is superb! It has a lot of room, full of light on all sides and you enjoy great views wherever you sit. You look at mount Triglav from the terrace while sipping coffee – true Zen experience. The hosts keep the apartment extremely clean, which is a key point for us. They take great care to prepare it for every visitor, which you can see in every small detail. The apartment has everything you need – dishwasher, multiple sets of sheets and towels, washing machine, window shutters, outside table-and-chairs sets on three sides of the apartment with beautiful views. The location is perfect – 10 min by car to Bled lake, 35 min to Bohinj lake. It is located directly below Stol, the highest peak of Karawanken mountain range (3.5 hours hike will take you to the top). Skiing in Austria and Italy is a couple of hours away, Adriatic sea 1.5 hours by car. We recommend Katja and Anica’s place 100%! There’s so much stuff to see and do you’d better plan at least 4-5 days stay. Dream host, dream location! 🙂

Comfortable place to stay in a beautiful environment.
We had everything we needed; well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, strong shower, and magnificent views. A close drive to Lake Bled, and many places to hike (you can even start right out the door!). Great for kids, there are some very friendly donkeys out back! Everything was so clean.

Absolument parfait ! Propre, fonctionnel, ultra équipé. Absolument rien à redire. Un accueil en personne très sympathique. L’emplacement permet de se déplacer (en voiture) au cœur de paysages magnifiques propices à des randonnées inoubliables. Plein de choses à découvrir dans cette région !
The place is fantastic. It’s a private unit surrounded by a private garden, surrounded by the mountains and a donkey field. It’s just about perfect for a stay with kids. It’s very easy to find, parking is just outside the unit, you can go to nice walks from there. All possible attractions, activities, and restaurants are at a very short drive distance. You can’t go wrong here! The interiors are efficient and well thought of. It really felt like home. Also, the hosts have curated plentiful of informative materials, so you won’t have to wonder what’s there to do or eat. Would definitely go back!!!
Quiet, beautiful surroundings with possibility of hiking. Me and my husband were very satisfied again for already second time at this place. The host provided us equipment for a baby too and made our stay even more comfortable.

Smještaj je bio jako ugodan i onakav kakav je prikazana na slikama. Ima sve potrebno za ugodan boravak, domaćini izađu u susret ako ih zatražiš nešto. Lokacija i apartman su za obitelji i ljude koji traže mir i odmor. Ako ste sa automobilima glavni grad je samo 30 min udaljen a i ostala mjesta su blizu. Svakako mjesto za preporučiti.
We spent 4 nights in this apartment. It is fully in line with the photos and description, very clean, fully equipped and convenient for 4 people. It is located in a very quiet and pleasant place, ideal for relaxing and feel close to the nature, but only 10 minutes to Bled. Our host Katja was very prompt and flexible, providing clear indications and helping us in accommodating a late check in and an early check out. Needless to spend further words, it is definitely one of the best stays we ever had!
