GREAT NEWS: Two brand new apartments opened in July 2017
We have completely renovated the second house on the property and there are now two brand new apartments available there. The first apartment occupies the whole ground floor of the house and the other apartment occupies the whole 1st floor of the house. Both apartments are air conditioned and have its own private entrance, free WiFi, and free parking.
The ground floor apartment has a surface of 56 square meters + 2 terraces. It has 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king-size bed (180 x 200 cm) and is perfect for parents, and the second bedroom has 2 single beds (90 x 200 cm). One extra bed (dimensions 90 x 190 cm) possible on request. All the furniture and fittings are brand new and of high quality. The apartment also has a brand new modern bathroom with a walk-in shower stall, a toilet and a washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen (with a ceramic glass electric cooktop with 4 hot plates, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, etc), a dinning area with a dinning table and a living area with a sofa (which is next to the first bedroom). Although the apartment is on the ground floor, it has a balcony with garden furniture and nice views of the mountains of the Slovenian Alps. There’s also a large terrace with a garden at the back of the house, also with a garden furniture and 2 sun loungers. There are also 2 flat screen TVs with 130+ international digital channels (one in each bedroom).
The 1st floor apartment has a surface of 60 square meters + large balcony (11 square meters). It has 2 bedrooms. It has 2 bedrooms, the first bedroom has a king-size bed (180 x 200 cm), and the second bedroom has 3 single beds (90 x 200 cm) and we can also put an extra bed (dimensions 90 x 190 cm) in this second bedroom. The apartment also has a brand new bathroom with a walk-in shower stall, a toilet and a washing machine, a second seperate toilet, a fully equipped kitchen (with a ceramic glass electric cooktop with 4 hot plates, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, etc), a dinning area with a dinning table, a living area with a sofa (which is next to the first bedroom) and a large balcony with garden furniture and 2 sun loungers and great views. There are also 2 flat screen TVs with 130+ international digital channels in the apartment.

It’s always great to see positive results from our attempts to offer the best place to stay in the Lake Bled area and while the wording of the accompanying letter made us smile (in a very cheesy way) the meaning behind the award means a great deal to us.

A Christmas tree already stands in the living room
We are still waiting for the first snow, but the Christmas time is getting closer so we decorated the apartment with a Christmas tree with lights, some holiday decorations and a poinsettia.
The apartment is now decorated with a Christmas tree and some Christmas touches.

We’ve received the “Certificate of Excellence” award from Tripadvisor!
We are proud to have received the certificate of Excellence for 2016 from the world’s largest travel website, TripAdvisor. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful reviews which led to the award.
With the Certificate of Excellence, TripAdvisor honours hospitality businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings. This helps travellers identify businesses that regularly deliver great services and experiences. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
The fact that this Certificate is awarded on the basis of comments, reviews and testimonials from visitors who have stayed with us is the best possible measure of success.

The festive season is a wonderful time of year. We’re still waiting for the first snow this winter, but the house is already decorated with Christmas lights to boost the festive mood.

We’ve just installed a new washing machine in the bathroom. Having a washing machine while traveling is always useful. It comes in particularly handy for lengthy stays or when travelling with kids.
