Decorated apartments for Christmas and New Year
We have put up Christmas decorations as a festive treat for you to enjoy whilst staying here for Christmas and New Year.
In the run-up to Christmas Eve, there’s nothing more to get you in the festive mood than the Christmas tree in the corner of a room, festooned with an array of baubles.

A classic red poinsettia is a must have in any home around Christmas.

The queen of the Christmas plants, a poinsettia is so inextricably linked to Christmas.

With its star-shaped leaves and traditional red and green colouring it is the ideal symbol of the season.

New Year’s Christmas tree is a symbol of winter time.

The Christmas Reindeer is linked with Santa Clause riding on his sled starting at the North Pole and delivering toys to children around the world.

Don’t you think penguins are cute? They are known to be some of the most endearing and intriguing wildlife on earth and for their winter-weather adaptations.

Angels represent good things, so Christmas and angels are a good match.

Christmas dwarfs are the cutest things.

Christmas decorations come in all shapes and sizes.

Decorated front door for Christmas and New Year.

A Christmas wreath hanging on the front door.

A house decorated with Christmas lights.

These reindeer are waiting to pull Santa’s sleigh, ready to deliver all those presents in time for the big day!

White wintry views from the balconies
Autumn had turned into winter early this year. While the autumn weather was still mild last week, during the night a cold front whirled over northwestern Slovenia and brought the first load of snow with it. We’ve got about 10 cm of snow, just enough for the kids to go sledding and build a snowman and for the landscape to be white and fluffy.
Here are some beautiful wintry views from the balconies of our apartments. It’s amazing how beautiful and serene the snowy landscape looks.
The winter has come early this year in the Lake Bled area
Sometime during the night it started snowing in the Bled area and all over the Alpine region of Slovenia and by morning there is about 5-10 cm of new snow on the ground and everything is covered in white and so beautiful.

Cooler weather, colorful trees… autumn has arrived!
Autumn has arrived. It is so beautiful and colorful season. The colors of the leaves as they fall down it’s so beautiful. The crisp air flowing through the dark trees and the orange hues at sunset. It’s truly the most stunning sight. Nothing is more beautiful than walking down a road with trees full of leaves on either side, all of different colours. There’s nothing more beautiful than watching the leaves in your garden change steadily from green, to yellow, to orange, to deep red. And when they fall off the trees, it is magic.
Autumn has arrived at Fine Stay Apartments turning all the deciduous trees red, orange and yellow.

Fall is full of so many wonderful things, the explosion of autumn colors, the falling leaves, the sound of trees rustling in the wind.
